MassHire Career Center of Lowell
The MassHire Lowell Career Center is part of the Massachusetts One-Stop Career Center System. It serves the communities of Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Dunstable, Lowell, Tewskbury, Tyngsborough, and Westford. The mission of the Lowell Career Center is to work closely with businesses to identify and meet their employment needs and provide job seekers with a wide range of job search and training services, including job fairs held at the Chelmsford Cross Roads at Route 129.
Chelmsford Business Association
The Chelmsford Business Association (CBA) is a group of nearly 300 member businesses that operate in the Town of Chelmsford. The CBA Board of Directors’ primary focus is tax classification and it has worked diligently with town officials to reduce the differential between business and residential tax with the ultimate goal of one day returning the town to parity.
Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Lowell Chamber covers the communities of Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Lowell, Tewksbury, Tyngsborough, and Westford. It provides member businesses with resources, advocacy, and information, along with networking and marketing opportunities.
MassHire Greater Lowell Workforce Board
The Greater Lowell Workforce Board oversees and implements workforce development initiatives and activities within the communities of Dustable, Tyngsborough, Dracut, Lowell, Chelmsford, Westford, Tewksbury, and Billerica. The Board acts as a catalyst to build relationships between employers, job seekers, training providers, funding resources, and general or specifically targeted workforce development programs.
MassDevelopment
MassDevelopment, the state’s economic development and finance agency, works with businesses, nonprofits, financial institutions, and communities to stimulate business and economic growth and help communities thrive across the state. Through these collaborative partnerships, the agency helps create jobs, increase the number of housing units, revitalize urban environments, and address factors limiting economic growth including transportation, energy, and infrastructure deficiencies.
MassEcon
MassEcon is a statewide non-profit alliance of private and public sector partners that markets Massachusetts to prospective new businesses and provides site location services to company prospects using its ReadyMass database of shovel-ready sites and Class A buildings available across the state.

MassBio represents the state’s premier global life sciences and healthcare hub, with 1,500+ members dedicated to preventing, treating, and curing diseases through transformative science and technology. MassBio offers its members professional development and networking opportunities, state and federal advocacy, and more.
The Massachusetts Office of Business Development
The Massachusetts Office of Business Development (MOBD) assists businesses relocating to Massachusetts, as well as businesses wishing to expand their current operations within the state, with specific attention paid to jobs created, jobs retained, and capital invested. Its team provides a central point of contact for facilitating access to resources, expertise, and incentive programs.
Northern Middlesex Council of Governments (NMCOG)
NMCOG is a regional planning agency that provides comprehensive planning services to member communities within the Greater Lowell region related to land use, environmental protection, energy, economic development, housing, public health, public safety, municipal service delivery, and transportation.
Middlesex 3 Coalition
The Coalition is a non-profit corporation committed to fostering economic development, job growth and retention, diversifying the tax base, and enhancing the quality of life for residents of Bedford, Billerica, Burlington, Chelmsford, Lowell, Tewksbury, Tyngsborough, and Westford. It helps businesses by providing assistance with infrastructure and transportation projects, facilitating grants and training programs, serving as a direct line to legislators, acting as a resource to review and streamline permitting processes, and aiding in the identification of potential development sites.
SCORE
SCORE is the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow, and achieve their goals. It provides a variety of services to small business owners, including mentoring, webinars, a library of online resources, and local events. SCORE’s Northeast Massachusetts chapter serves Essex, North Middlesex, and parts of Northern Suffolk counties.
